Nestled on the southern side of an extinct volcano, pockets of Onehunga are rock-solid – quite literally! With Basick Transport requiring the best part of 4000 cubic meters of rock to be broken, excavated and carted away to make way for its growing operations, Calder Stuart called on ACL to deliver.
Bashing rock over 12 months requires concentration. Precisely-loaded trucks and trailers, high quality, reliable machinery and experienced operators moved Basick Transport’s share of the volcano spill – no break-downs, Monday to Saturday, until BAM, the rock was gone.
Digging footings, underground carpark preparation and service trenches followed for Calder Stuart to commence the build. Happy client, happy ACL.
