Hobsonville Point has a fascinating history – from the bountiful provision of seafood, timber, Kauri gum and clay to more recently housing New Zealand’s armed forces.
Given the land’s more recent use, mountains of demolition waste, contaminated soil and clay needed shifting to prepare the land for the suburb’s development.
Working closely with [clients], we diligently cut roads in, cleared existing infrastructure, removed contaminated soils, retained and prepped sites to trade-ready standard. All up, around 500 of them!
ACL literally prepared the land Hobsonville Point was built on. And we plan to do a lot more of it!
